Getting There

Parking
parking Parking restrictions will be enforced from 09:00 on each day no vehicle will be allowed into or remain in the area without a valid Notting Hill Carnival Vehicle permit. So if any of your members are bringing their cars and dropping performers off, they will not be able to do this after 09.00. However they can drop people off on the Harrow Road and they can walk down to the meeting point.
 
Bus services
Bus services Two special express routes – 36X and 436X will be running between south London and the Carnival on both Carnival days. Numerous other bus routes will run close to the Carnival but will not enter the immediate Carnival area due to some road closures.
The routes serving the area are; 7, 18, 23, 27, 28, 31, 36, 46, 52, 70, 94, 148, 295, 316, 328 and 390.
 
Night routes will operate throughout Sunday and Monday night – N7, N18, N28, N31, N36, N52 & N207.
 
Bus routes 6, 15, 187, 205, 220, 274, 414 and 436, all operate within a comfortable walking distance.
 
Train Stations around the carnival area
Ladbroke Grove - Will be closed on Sunday August 26 and Bank Monday August 27
 
Latimer Road - Will close on both days at 23:30.
 
Notting Hill Gate - Sunday, the station will be exit only between 12:00 and 19.00.
   
  Monday 27 August there will be no interchange between the Central line and the District/Circle lines. The sation will also be exit only between 12.00 and 18.30.
   
  Bayswater station or Paddington Hammersmith & City line station can be used as alternatives.
 
Royal Oak - Both days Normal service Until 11.00
    Way out only 11.00 – 18.00
    Station Close at 18.00
 
Westbourne Park Both days Normal service Until 11.00
    Way out only 11.00 – 18.00
